The Wolverines are looking for more depth in the secondary and hope to land this transfer option.
The hunt for assistance in the secondary is not over for Sherrone Moore and the Michigan Wolverines . The 2024 offseason has already seen transfers out from Keon Sabb and D.J. Waller. Other roster moves include Amorion Walker’s return after spending a few months at Ole Miss , and Quentin Johnson coming back to Ann Arbor after originally declaring for the 2024 NFL Draft.
Still, there is work to be done, especially at cornerback. Moore and the Wolverines are doing their best to fill the void, as they are reportedly hosting Albany transfer and FCS All-American, Aamir Hill.
Former Albany cornerback Aamir Hill, a 2023 FCS All-American, is visiting Michigan, sources tell @247Sports .

Hill was one of the best defensive backs in the FCS, recording 15 pass breakups and five interceptions.
Prior to Albany, Hill played three seasons with the Richmond Spiders. The FCS actually played two seasons in 2021, with a four-game stretch in the spring due to COVID-19 and the 2020 fall season being postponed. Then, he started all 11 games for Richmond in the fall and compiled 13 pass breakups, one sack and one interception. In 2022, he played nine games for Richmond and had 28 tackles, half a sack and one interception.
The Wolverines were in play for one of the best corners in the portal, Texas transfer Terrance Brooks. However, Brooks committed to Illinois just before a scheduled trip to Ann Arbor.
While the Wolverines have moved on to their next option, Hill would seemingly be a great option based on how he’s performed at a lesser level over the last few seasons.
