Despite not being drafted in the 2024 NFL Draft , former Michigan Wolverines defensive back and special teams contributor German Green is set to participate in the Los Angeles Chargers’ rookie minicamp, according to On3’s Clayton Sayfie.

Michigan’s special teams unit has been one of the best in the country while Green played for the Wolverines. It didn’t allow a kickoff return longer than 30 yards over the course of three seasons, and is the only FBS unit with that stat. Green played an integral role in that success for the maize and blue.
At Michigan’s Pro Day, Green posted a 40-yard dash time of 4.63 seconds. He has plenty of experience playing for some NFL coaches, and that’s certainly going to be something that helps him as a pro.
We at Maize n Brew wish Green nothing but success at the professional ranks.
