Official visit season is here! The Michigan Wolverines are set to host a ton of top targets in the 2026 recruiting class over the next four weeks, and it all starts today with the first batch of prospects heading to campus as we speak.
Here are the recruits expected to officially visit Michigan this weekend.
Four-star WR Zion Robinson
The highest ranked (No. 135 overall) player visiting this weekend on the 247Sports composite, Robinson is a huge — literally and figuratively — target at 6-foot-4 and 180 pounds. He visited Ann Arbor last month for the spring game, so this is a quick return trip for him. Robinson has other official visits on the docket for TCU , Miami and Stanford.
Four-star LB Shadarius Toodle
An Auburn commit, Toodle is one of Brian Jean-Mary’s top targets in this cycle. Toodle took an official visit to Georgia last weekend and garnered some flip predictions in favor of the Bulldogs from recruiting experts, including Steve Wiltfong. This is a massive visit to keep Michigan in the running for the No. 9 linebacker and No. 168 overall player in the class.
Four-star DL Damari Simeon
The state of New Jersey has not been kind to Michigan on the recruiting trail lately, but the Wolverines are going to shoot their shot with Simeon. At 6-foot-3 and 275 pounds, the St. Augustine Prep star is the No. 201 overall player in the nation and has other official visits lined up for Penn State, Texas and Ohio State.
Four-star WR Brady Marchese
A Georgia commit, Marchese is a bit of a surprise visitor this weekend. At 6-foot-1 and 183 pounds, Marchese is from the state of Georgia and is No. 289 overall in the country.
Four-star S Jordan Deck
Deck recently dropped a top-four list of Michigan, Penn State, Baylor and Colorado. He has already officially visited Boulder, so Wolverines are up next for the No. 387 overall player in the class. The Frisco, Texas native is listed at 6-foot-1.5 and 190 pounds and visited Ann Arbor for the first time last month.
Four-star WR Christian Ward
Another big-bodied receiver coming in this weekend, Ward is listed at 6-foot-3 and 185 pounds. He is on the record saying Michigan is the favorite heading into official visit season, — he has other officials scheduled for Kansas State and UNLV, and could hit Florida State and Georgia Tech as well — so if there’s any recruit most likely to commit following this weekend, it’s probably Ward.
Three-star OL Jax Tanner
One of the many targets for Michigan along the offensive line, Tanner is a fast-rising recruit and very well could finish the cycle as a four-star. The 6-foot-4, 275-pounder was the Gatorade Player of the Year in Idaho last year and has a top-four of Michigan, Oregon, BYU and Tennessee. He is taking officials to all of them over the next four weeks, so this is a crucial visit for the Wolverines to stay alive. Notably, he will be taking a one-year mission trip, so Tanner won’t be a true freshman until 2027.
