The Michigan football team has one of the best 2026 recruiting classes in the country, and some 2027 commitments could start rolling in pretty soon. We break it all down on today’s Recruiting Roundup:
Sherrone Moore signed a top-10 recruiting class during his first year as the head coach of the Michigan Wolverines football team, and he is on track to do it again. The 2026 class is in great shape, and even the 2027 class is starting to take form. Let’s talk about that and more in today’s Recruiting Roundup:
Michigan predicted to land 2027 OL
All of the attention is on the 2026 recruiting class, but Michigan has already landed a commitment in the 2027 class. Another one could be coming as the Wolverines received a crystal ball from 247Sports for three-star offensive lineman Tristan Dare .
Dare is the #496 player in the 2027 class, and he is 6’4”, 290 lbs. Rivals also placed a prediction for Michigan to land him.

Dare has a lot of time before he needs to make his college decision, but it looks like he is already close to picking his new home.
Michigan hosting two five-stars WRs on visits
We all know that the Michigan football team needs to do a better job acquiring wide receiver talent, and we have seen WR coach Ron Bellamy do a good job in the 2026 recruiting class. He has been busy in the 2027 class as well, and two of the top receivers in the country will visit the Wolverines this fall.
Monshun Sales and Quentin Burrell are both five-star prospects, and they will both be on campus soon. Sales is already high on the Wolverines.
“They treat me like I’m already there,” Sales told On3’s Steve Wiltfong ($) . “They show me so much love.”
Michigan is in a good spot with Burrell as well, and his sister is a big reason why. She already attends the university, so Burrell is very familiar with the school.
“Michigan, my sister goes there, so that’s like a second home,” he said.
Landing some five-stars at the WR position would be massive for the Wolverines, and they are in a good spot to make it happen in the 2027 class.
Michigan pushing hard to land five-star 2027 QB
The Wolverines are in a good spot with a couple of five-star wideouts, and they are going after a five-star quarterback in the 2027 class as well. That player is Kavian Bryant . Michigan is recruiting him hard, and Bryce Underwood could end up having an impact on his recruitment.
“Their offensive scheme is pretty cool,” Bryant told On3’s Ethan McDowell ($) . “I got to walk with the coaches while they were going over their plays on offense during practice. I feel like Bryce Underwood is a great mentor.”
One thing that a lot of recruits have taken away from their conversations with Sherrone Moore is his transparency. Bryant is one player who has noticed it.
“He keeps it straight,” he said. “He’s going to tell me how Bryce is and how I should come in, be behind him or take over and lead. I feel like he’s a great coach.”
Bryant likely isn’t going to be making a decision anytime soon, but Michigan seems to be in a good spot early on.
“Sometime next year,” Bryant said of his commitment date. “I don’t really know yet. Probably December or January.”
