June will be a busy recruiting month for the Wolverines.
This last week of May and June will be a busy time for recruiting for the Michigan Wolverines , who are hosting several talented high school football players on official visits.
Here is a list of 10 top targets who will be visiting over the next five weeks, confirmed by either the players themselves or a Michigan news outlet.
Four-star DB Kainoa Winston (May 31)
Sam Webb with The Michigan Insider ($) reported that defensive coordinator Wink Martindale and defensive backs coach LaMar Morgan visited Winston at Gonzaga College High School in Washington D.C. and chatted with him for an extended period of time.
”We met for like four hours, talking about school and all that,” the top-100 2025 defensive back said. “It was really just getting to know them on more of a personal level, outside of football. We talked about a little bit of football stuff, like schemes there that they’ll run.”
Four-star LB Elijah Melendez (June 7)
Melendez has been committed to Miami since mid-December but has been linked to Michigan for a while now. The top-150 linebacker visited Michigan in April and has had a relationship with Michigan linebackers coach Brian Jean-Mary, who recruited him when he was coaching at Tennessee.
Four-star WR Quincy Porter (June 14)
As a top-50 wide receiver, Porter is a high priority target who is being recruited by several schools. On3 reported about his official visit a few weeks from now. Porter told Sam Webb with The Michigan Insider ($) that Michigan left a positive impression on his visit last week. Porter has great size at 6-foot-3 and 190 pounds and could pair well with a speedster like Semaj Morgan.
Five-star OT Andrew Babalola (June 14)
Michigan’s biggest strength for the past three seasons has been its offensive line, and adding a top tackle like Babaloa would help Michigan stay elite up front. The top-30 tackle said “the visit was great” back when he was in Ann Arbor this spring.
Four-star DB JaDon Blair (June 14)
Blair is set to make his college decision on July 5 , and also has official visits planned for South Carolina (May 31), Notre Dame (June 7), Florida State (June 18) and Penn State (June 21), according to his 247 profile.
Four-star TE Andrew Olesh (June 21)
Olesh picked up an offer from Michigan back in March and included Michigan in his top-eight a month later. In an interview with 247’s Brian Dohn ($) at the time, Olesh spoke on his logic for choosing each team in his top eight, including Michigan.
“(Tight ends) coach (Steve) Casula, when I got to Michigan, he was the first one who greeted me. He’s a really good coach,” Olesh said. “He greeted my family well. He showed me how I could fit in. He told me I could be the next Colson Loveland, so that was very nice to hear because he’s going to be a projected first or second round pick. If I could be just like him at Michigan, that would be great because he’s a really good player. He’s already got me in contact with Colston and I’ve been asking him questions.”
Four-star OL Michael Carroll (June 21)
Like Babaloa, Carroll is a high-priority o-line target. He recently included Michigan in his top-four , but there is no clear timeline for when he’ll make a decision.
Four-star LB Nathaniel Owusu-Boateng (June 21)
Owusu-Boateng included Michigan in his top-13 and seemed to be buying into the mystique of Michigan football on his last visit.
“I would say, my favorite thing was how persistent they were on all the small details,” the linebacker said to On3’s Chad Simmons . “Not only that but the love they showed and the lack of egos they had. Seeing all the greats who went into the Wolverines program and just envisioning myself in those shoes. Playing for a program that really fit my needs. Not only that but there’s a togetherness of all the players, they play for each other.”
Four-star LB Kamar Archie (June 21)
Archie, rated just outside the top-200 in the 2025 class on the 247 composite, is part of a trio of linebackers visiting Michigan less than a month from now. Sounds like his relationship with Jean-Mary will play a huge role in his recruitment.
“We had a great talk,” Archie told On3’s EJ Holland ($) about his meeting with Jean-Mary during a visit at Archie’s home this spring. “He got to speak with my parents. We talked about setting that official visit up. He told me to keep working. He also told me how special Michigan is. I’ve seen it for myself, so I know it is a special place.”
Three-star LB Chase Taylor (June 21)
Taylor is one of many linebacker prospects being pursued by Jean-Mary and the Wolverines. He was offered in the Fall and is still being recruited by the new defensive staff. He also has official visits planned for South Carolina, Georgia Tech and USC.
