Michigan’s currently 4-2 on the season and ranked No. 24 in the nation. The Wolverines have two games remaining in the month of October — at No. 22 Illinois (5-1) and a home tilt against 3-3 Michigan State. Following those two contests Michigan faces the No. 2 Oregon Ducks (6-0) at Michigan Stadium.

Per ESPN’s FPI (Football Power Index), Michigan will be the favorite against Illinois (59.5 percent chance to win) and Michigan State (75.3 percent chance to win). They’ll be an underdog against Oregon (29.4 percent chance of winning). Oregon’s coming off a thrilling 32-31 victory over No. 4 Ohio State (5-1) last Saturday and is one of the best teams in the nation. The question is, will Michigan have any momentum heading into the Oregon game?
