This is the final week of regular season college basketball, and the Big Ten Conference Tournament is looming. Michigan has two remaining regular season games and is currently ranked No. 2 in the Big Ten Conference with a 14-4 conference record. Michigan State is currently No. 1 in the Big Ten with a 15-3 conference record. Michigan’s final two regular season tilts are against Michigan State and Maryland, who has a 12-6 conference record, which is tied with Wisconsin and Purdue for third-best in the Big Ten.
Michigan is guaranteed a double-bye in the Big Ten Tournament and the lowest seed they can have in the tournament is No. 4. Michigan can clinch the No. 1 seed with wins against Maryland and Michigan State or with Michigan State losses to Iowa and Michigan.
