— In this edition of SB Nation Reacts, we want to know which Michigan player selected in the NFL Draft you think has the best fit with their new team. In the poll below, we included Michigan players selected during the first two days of the draft.
- Mason Graham will be on the same defensive line as the best pass rusher in the NFL in Myles Garrett. Former Detroit Lions head coach Jim Schwartz is the Browns defensive coordinator and Schwartz coaches a formidable defensive unit that loves to stay aggressive and pressure the quarterback.
- Colston Loveland lands with a Chicago Bears offense that will have an entirely new offensive line behind quarterback Caleb Williams, the 2024 No. 1 overall pick. New Bears head coach Ben Johnson was an offensive gameplanning wizard as offensive coordinator for the Lions and utilized tight end Sam LaPorta effectively in Detroit. While the Bears should still be considered a dark horse playoff team at best right now, Loveland being coached by Johnson could be fun.
- Kenneth Grant is already excited about being on Miami’s defense, saying the Dolphins scheme is similar to Michigan’s and that he can wreak havoc.
- Will Johnson fell in the draft to pick No. 47, but his new home with the Cardinals could be a great fit. Johnson is perceived as being a player that will fare much better in a zone-coverage scheme than one that relies on man-to-man. The good news for Johnson is he Cardinals played the second-highest rate of zone coverage in the NFL last season.
- Stewart is joining a Rams defense that ranked No. 22 in team sacks last season. Stewart should help that number improve, Among all edge rushers in the ‘25 class, Stewart had the best PFF pass-rush grade (93.7) and best pass-rush win rate (27.7%).
