Offensive line reinforcements? An insurance option at QB? More weapons at receiver? What should Michigan’s No. 1 priority be in the transfer portal? Vote in this edition of SB Nation Reacts.
Welcome to SB Nation Reacts, a survey of fans across the NCAA. Throughout the year we ask questions of the most plugged-in Michigan Wolverines fans and fans across the country. Sign up here to participate in the weekly emailed surveys.
The college football spring transfer portal opens up on April 16, and the Michigan Wolverines will likely add multiple players. In this edition of SB Nation Reacts, we want to know which position you believe should be the No. 1 priority for Michigan in the portal. Vote below.
- Pete Nakos of On3 Sports believes Michigan will be one of the biggest ‘buyers’ on the market and adding talent at receiver and offensive line will be priorities. Another position Michigan could reportedly target is quarterback.
- Brad Crawford of 247 Sports noted that Michigan could add another QB as an ‘insurance option’. However, five-star true freshman Bryce Underwood has impressed in spring ball and Sherrone Moore shared a positive injury update on Tuesday about Fresno State transfer Mikey Keene. These variables could make it less imperative for Michigan to add another quarterback to the roster.
- Special teams coordinator J.B. Brown said Michigan will look to add a punter in the portal. Tommy Doman entered the transfer portal in December and the only player punting in practice has been Hudson Hollenbeck.
