The No. 5-seed Michigan Wolverines are red hot at the moment. First, they won the Big Ten Tournament, and then they carried that momentum into the NCAA Tournament by winning their first two matchups — 68-65 over No. 12-seed UC San Diego in the first round and a 91-79 win over No. 4-seed Texas A&M in the second round.
Next up for the Wolverines is a Sweet 16 tilt with No. 1-seed Auburn on Friday. Michigan are underdogs, with ESPN Analytics giving Michigan just a 20.5% chance of winning. If Michigan prevails against Auburn, they’ll head to the Elite 8 and face the winner of No.6-seed Ole Miss vs. No. 2-seed Michigan State.
How many wins will Michigan pick up this weekend? Vote below.
Many college hoops fans across the nation will be hoping Michigan and Michigan State both make it to the Elite 8 in what would make for an epic NCAA Tournament showdown against two major rivals. It’s easy to think that the ratings would be massive. However, Michigan has its work cut out for them against a very good Auburn team before they can even start thinking about facing MSU in the Elite 8.
By the time Monday morning hits, Michigan will have either been eliminated or headed to the Final Four in San Antonio. How did you vote this week? Zero wins, one win, or two wins this weekend for the Wolverines? Let us know in the comments and come back in a couple of days when we reveal the results of this survey.
