Earlier this week, we asked fans how they’d feel if the Big Ten Championship moved away from Lucas Oil Stadium in Indianapolis to Las Vegas or other sites for football and other sports. The results are in, and the results are mixed.

47% of fans believe the Big Ten Championship Game should be in Las Vegas and other sites in the future, while 53% are against a move. I brought the topic up due to Big Ten Football Media Days moving to Las Vegas this year, being held at Allegiant Stadium July 22-24. Is this a precursor to the Big Ten announcing that future Big Ten Football Championship games will be played in Vegas? We will see.
The Big Ten Championship Game has been held at Lucas Oil Stadium since its inception in 2012, but the times are changing with the additions of West Coast teams to the conference in Oregon, UCLA, USC, and Washington. Moving the Big Ten Championship to Las Vegas on a rotational basis, along with other sites, does make sense. Why not add Detroit, Los Angeles, and Minneapolis to the list of future sites?
Big Ten Basketball has already announced they’re heading to Vegas and will hold the conference tournament at T-Mobile Arena in Las Vegas for women’s basketball in 2027 and for men’s basketball in 2028 .
In the SB Nation Reacts national poll this week, we have a head-scratching result involving the Big Ten regular season championship. Fans aren’t high on Michigan Men’s Basketball winning the Big Ten regular season championship, receiving just 13% of the vote. Michigan State topped voting at 65%.

Per FanDuel Sportsbook , Michigan State has the best odds of reaching the Final Four at +550 while Michigan is at +1800.
