Earlier this week we asked fans what Michigan Football’s No. 1 priority should be in the transfer portal. And now the results are in.

In this week’s edition of SB Nation Reacts we asked Michigan fans what position should be Michigan’s No. 1 priority in the transfer portal, and now the results are in.

41% of voters believe Michigan’s top priority in the portal should be a wide receiver, 27% of fans want more reinforcements along the offensive line, 15% voted cornerback, 11% said punter, and just 6% voted quarterback.
Michigan head coach Sherrone Moore said on Saturday after Michigan’s spring game that the receivers have gotten better under new offensive coordinator Chip Lindsey’s scheme. While the receivers may be getting better, there’s still good reason to add more talent at the position with Michigan likely to pass more and take more shots down the field in Lindsey’s offense.
The spring poral opened on April 16 and will close on April 25. Michigan has lost seven players in the spring portal and currently have two additions in UMass running back CJ Hester and Missouri punter Luke Bauer. Follow up to date portal happenings in our Michigan Football Spring Transfer Portal Tracker.
In a national SB Nation Reacts poll, we asked about the kind of recruiting fans are interested in more — high school or the transfer portal? The results were telling.

70% of fans are more invested in high school recruiting, while 30% prefer transfer portal recruiting.
