It is going to be a cold, windy day in Columbus on Saturday for Michigan vs. Ohio State. Here is the expected weather report for The Game:
As all Michigan Wolverines fans know, Ohio State fans make excuses for everything. From “tHe SiGnS!” to “tHe SnOw!” and everything in between, those people make it a yearly tradition to not only forget to cross out every single “M” in a social media post, but to also follow in the footsteps of their head coach with being soft as hell.
If the weather report ends up being accurate for tomorrow’s game and the football gods provide the Wolverines with one last hurrah, I can imagine Buckeye fans from Columbus to Cambridge will be in an uproar about it being too cold for Ryan Day’s high-powered offense to be able to operate properly.
According to AccuWeather , it is going to be a bone-shaking day in Columbus on Saturday. It will be anywhere between 22-27 degrees in the morning leading up to the game, with it feeling even colder than that between 12-18 degrees. Wind gusts will be up to 14 miles per hour, and there will be a zero percent chance of precipitation.
Things don’t get much better by game time, as the temperature will rise to 30 degrees by game time, with it feeling like it’s 20 degrees. The chance of precipitation stays at zero percent, and the wind gusts don’t change all that much either. Even though it is going to be a really cold day, it should be sunny for the duration of the game.
Michigan’s offense is catered for games like this, as we haven’t seen quarterback Davis Warren make many downfield throws during the 2024 season. Ohio State’s offense is a bit more balanced this season than in past ones under Day, but Will Howard still throws the ball 25.5 times per game on average. If the wind affects just one or two of those passes, it would give the Michigan secondary a shot to make a big play.
Michigan vs. Ohio State kicks off around 12:14 p.m. on FOX.
