If nothing makes Jim Harbaugh angrier than losing to Ohio State, nothing makes the Buckeyes happier than beating That Team Up North. They prepare for The Game around the clock.
Remember what quarterback Justin Fields said after last season’s blowout at The Big House?
“I just think we take it more serious than they do. We prepare for it all year. We’re preparing for them next year right now. I think it just means more at Ohio State. That’s pretty much the bigger reason why we have more success than they do.”
This season’s game will come in October, as we learned Wednesday morning. And the Buckeyes want Michigan to know: the countdown has already begun. Within an hour of the schedule release, Ohio State was taunting its rival on Twitter.

When you’ve won eight straight and 15 of the last 16, this is your right. All Michigan can do is swallow its pride and try to turn the tables in 2020. The Game is scheduled for Oct. 24.
“We gotta beat Ohio State,” Harbaugh said this offseason. “Nothing makes us angrier than that, or me. That’s what we’re working toward every day. We’ve beaten everybody else, but we haven’t beaten them. And that’s what we have to do: beat them, win a (Big Ten) championship, get ourselves in the playoffs, win a national championship.”
