The 2024 fall roster has officially dropped for the Michigan Wolverines ’ football program, and there are some significant changes heading into the new season.
Number changes
- Wide receiver Semaj Morgan went from No. 82 to No. 0. Edge Josaiah Stewart is also now No. 0 after being No. 5 last year.
- Both freshmen tight ends have already had a number change: Brady Prieskorn was No. 22 in the spring, but is now No. 86. Hogan Hansen had a very minor change, going from 81 to 80.
- Defensive lineman Enow Etta went from No. 96 to No. 17.
Weight changes
- Three second-year defensive lineman saw some big gains from last year — Trey Pierce is up 15 pounds and now weighs 315, while Etta went up 13 pounds and is now 308 pounds, and Brooks Bahr went from 298 pounds to 319 pounds.
- A couple redshirt freshmen offensive linemen also saw some major gains — Evan Link went from 307 pounds to 328 pounds, while Nathan Efobi went from 285 pounds to 307 pounds.
- Linebacker Micah Pollard is up 13 pounds (221 to 234), while Jimmy Rolder is up from 233 to 240. Meanwhile, freshman Cole Sullivan is up 10 pounds from the spring and weighs 225.

- Wide receiver Kendrick Bell is up to 191 pounds — he was 180 last fall.
- Cornerback Ja’Den McBurrows is down 6 pounds from 200 to 194. Meanwhile, Jyaire Hill put on four pounds and is now 185.

- Defensive lineman Alessandro Lorenzetti dropped 16 pounds and is now 285. Cameron Brandt also dropped some weight, going from 277 down to 265.
Position changes
- True freshman Mason Curtis is now listed as a defensive back. He was originally recruited to play edge at Michigan, as shown in his recruit profile tweet when he signed in December. At 6-foot-5 and 200 pounds, he certainly has the frame to play safety.
- Etta went from edge to “DL” on the roster, which means he’s on the interior now. Meanwhile, Cameron Brandt did the exact opposite and went from DL to edge.
