After missing three field goals earlier the game, former Michigan kicker Jake Moody nailed the game-winning kick to help the Niners beat the Bucs. We have that and more from your favorite former Wolverines from NFL Week 10:
Week 10 of the NFL season is in the books, and as has been the case all season long, several former Wolverines made a key impact for their respective teams.
Let’s kick off this edition of Pro Blue with a kicker from Metro Detroit who nailed a game winner after struggling earlier in the game.
Niners kicker Jake Moody nails game-winner after missing three field goals earlier in game
It doesn’t matter how many kicks you miss in a game, as long as you make it when it matters
With the game on the line, San Francisco 49ers kicker Jake Moody drilled a 44-yard attempt that just squeaked inside the left goal post to help the Niners beat the Tampa Bay Buccaneers .

After making his first 14 field goal attempts of the season, Jake Moody missed three of his next six field tries (from 44, 49 and 50 yards). Those misses prompted wide receiver Deebo Samuel to strike Niner holder Taybor Pepper, with Moody catching a stray.

Aside from the misses yesterday, the Northville native has been consistent throughout his career, making 37 of his 45 regular season field goal attempts (82.2 percent) and 74 of his 75 of his extra point attempts (98.7 percent). In the playoffs last season, Moody made six of his eight field goal attempts.
In that same game, wide receiver Ronnie Bell — a teammate of Moody’s at Michigan and now in San Francisco — returned a kick for 23 yards.
Hassan Haskins scores key fourth quarter touchdown to help Chargers to victory
Hassan Haskins jumped over the goal line to help beat Ohio State in 2021, and three years later, he jumped over the goal line to score and help the Jim Harbaugh-led Los Angeles Chargers beat the Tennessee Titans .

This was the first touchdown of Haskins’ career, and with how much Harbaugh loves to run the ball at the goal line, I doubt it will be his last this season.
