Left tackle Myles Hinton was crucial on Michigan’s offensive line this season and hopes to have an impact in the NFL. Here’s our scouting report on Hinton ahead of the 2025 NFL Draft:

Despite dealing with some injuries throughout his college career, offensive lineman Myles Hinton was a crucial piece for the Michigan Wolverines’ offense. Sherrone Moore and company needed consistency out of Hinton, and he lived up to the task when he was on the field. While he may not have been as consistent as guys on the line from 2023, he still helped shore up running lanes for Michigan running backs and protected the blind side for the quarterbacks.

Cons

  • He occasionally gets ahead of the play, rendering his blocks ineffective
  • Dealt with multiple injuries in college
  • Not getting as much attention with overall poor line play from the Wolverines this season

Conclusion

It’d be crazy for Hinton to get overlooked in the NFL Draft this season. Despite the offensive line’s performance in 2024, Hinton was the best of the bunch. He also has strong tape from 2023 when he mostly played on the right side of the line. Hinton has been solid since he came to Ann Arbor and has all the attributes a team would want in an offensive lineman, both physically and mentally.
