“Just came through surgery and it all went great!” Moore wrote. “Wanted to take this time to thank everyone for their love and support. My Michigan brothers, Friends, training staff, coaches, my parents, my family, fans, Dr. Ellatrache and Elite Ortho. God First!”
Despite the uncertainty surrounding his injury, Moore’s positive outlook and determination to overcome adversity shine through in his post. His willingness to undergo surgery and take necessary steps toward recovery bodes well for his prospects of returning to the gridiron at full strength.
“I think we’ll see what it is,” head coach Sherrone Moore said of Moore’s status earlier this week. “I’m not a doctor. I was asked how fast that is and what the process is, but hopeful, hopeful that (he can come back this season).”
A two-time All-Big Ten selection, Moore has seen action in 37 career games for the Wolverines. This past season, he racked up 38 total tackles and two interceptions.
As Moore embarks on the road to recovery, the Michigan football community rallies behind him, offering support and encouragement as he works to regain his health and fitness. With the start of the season drawing nearer, Wolverines fans eagerly await updates on Moore’s progress and eventual return to action.
