Michigan is throwing it back to the 1998 Rose Bowl.
The uniform combo has been revealed for the Michigan Wolverines in the Rose Bowl Game against the Alabama Crimson Tide .
Paying tribute to the 1997 team, where Michigan defeated the Washington State Cougars , 21-16, to win its most recent national championship, the Wolverines will be wearing their blue tops with maize pants. They’ll also be sporting a Rose Bowl patch on their shoulder pads and underneath the Big Ten logo.

This look was made famous by Michigan legends Charles Woodson and Brian Griese, and now J.J. McCarthy and Blake Corum will have a shot at etching themselves in Michigan history with the same color combination and patch on Monday.
The Wolverines are currently 1.5-point favorites over the Crimson Tide on DraftKings, but the line has moved down slowly over three weeks.
Alabama leads the all–time series against the Wolverines, 3-2. The Crimson Tide also have a much better record in the Rose Bowl, with only one loss over the years. Meanwhile, Michigan is 8-12. Nonetheless, the Wolverines are ranked No. 1 in the country for a reason and have the chance to prove it on the field.
