Michigan signee Trey McKenney was officially named to the 2025 McDonald’s All-American roster today.
McKenney is one of three class of 2025 commitments for the Wolverines, along with Winters Grady and Oscar Goodman. He’s ranked 17th nationally, according to the 247 Sports Composite.
The 6-foot-4 guard is Michigan’s first McDonald’s All-American since 2021, when Caleb Houstan, Moussa Diabate and Kobe Bufkin were all selected. There was no game that year due to COVID-19, so McKenney could be the first Michigan signee to play in a McDonald’s All-American game since Daniel Horton in 2002.
McKenney is one of only two selections committed to a Big Ten school, with Niko Bundalo heading to Washington.
