A light list of football and basketball prospects will be on hand for Michigan’s upcoming home game.
Given the weak opponent on the gridiron, there aren’t many visitors slated to be on hand for the Michigan game this weekend. That’s to be expected for any game outside the rival games, but there are some interesting storylines to follow with the few guys who will be making the trip.
Greater Atlanta Christian (GA) Myles Hinton – Four-star No. 65 overall, No. 7 OT
This will mark Hinton’s second consecutive trip for a Michigan home game to watch his brother (hopefully) play in the maize and blue. It’s another unofficial visit, so the Stanford commit will just be watching in the stands with his family, but you can bet the staff will get some face time in with the touted tackle prospect.
Elkhart Central (IN) Rodney McGraw – Four-star, No. 308 overall, No. 18 WDE
Like Hinton, McGraw will also be on campus for back-to-back Michigan home games. The 2021 prospect made plans to visit soon after his last trip, which warranted a few crystal balls to go Michigan’s way. This is an encouraging development, especially since he still is highly interested after witnessing the destruction first-hand in Madison last weekend.
West Bloomfield (MI) Kyle Johnson – unranked safety (2022)
Johnson is an intriguing local safety who is teammates with Cornell Wheeler and Makari Paige at West Bloomfield. He doesn’t hold an offer from Michigan yet, but has drawn interest from a few Big Ten schools already as a sophomore.
Word of God Christian Academy (NC) Isaiah Todd – Five-star, No. 12 overall, No. 2 PF
As has been the case so far this season, Juwan Howard is taking advantage of game days to host a few elite basketball prospects for official visits. Todd is the highest ranked out of any of them yet, at No. 12 in the nation. His top five includes Kansas, Kentucky, Memphis, UNC and Michigan, so Howard is going up against top competition, to say the least. Todd’s crystal balls are all over the place, but word is Kentucky is the team to beat here.
Montverde Academy (FL) Moses Moody – Four-star, No. 42 overall, No. 8 SG
Moody hasn’t been talked about much in terms of Michigan, but he is quickly becoming a top target for the staff. His top group consists of Arkansas, Florida, Kansas, Ohio State, Oregon, USC and Michigan. He’s originally from Arkansas, which may give the Razorbacks the edge, but Ohio State and Oregon are rumored to be out and Kansas is facing down the barrel of serious punishments from the NCAA, so Michigan will have room to operate here.
