Brady Hart kickstarted Michigan’s 2026 recruiting class by committing to the Wolverines. The high school quarterback didn’t need much time to antagonize his future rival.

Ohio State was among the many other schools to offer the the four-star recruit a scholarship. Discussing his decision with On’3 EJ Holland , Hart said he chose Michigan shortly after visiting Columbus.

“When I walked out of Ohio State, I realized the culture that Michigan has isn’t everywhere,” Hart said.

Per 247Sports , Hart is the No. 92 prospect and No. 7 quarterback from the class of 2026. He led Cocoa High School to a Florida state title with 41 passing touchdowns as a first-year starter.

Andrew Ivins called Hart a “modern pocket passer” and “potential Power Four starter.” The 6-foot-4 quarterback delivers an early recruiting win for new Michigan head coach Sherrone Moore.

Hart told Rivals that he expects the defending national champions to remain in the title hunt without Jim Harbaugh.

“Coach Moore and Coach (Kirk) Campbell and the whole staff really believe they’re going to keep winning, and that’s huge for me,” Hart said. “The ability to win is a huge thing for me, and the ability to win at a high level and compete for a national championship every year is huge. I can’t wait to be a part of it.”

Maybe Buckeyes fans will forget about Hart’s culture comment by the time he begins his college career.
