Michigan Player Had Classy Message For Fans After Transfer Decision

Wide receiver Jake Thaw is on his way out of Ann Arbor. But he didn’t leave without a heartfelt goodbye for the University of Michigan and its fans.

Taking to Twitter shortly after his decision to enter the transfer portal, Thaw shared:

For those that have kept unwavering support – thank you. And for those that have not, I understand. I made the biggest two mistakes of my life on the biggest stage, and I won’t ever forgive myself. I’ll always love and cherish Michigan and this fanbase. Go Blue.

Wolverines fans appreciated Wednesday’s message from the senior wideout.

“At the end of day Jake the mistakes happened but you know what you guys overcame all the adversity during the Bama game and that’s what matters,” a user said. “Congrats on being a B1G Champ, Rose Bowl Champ, and a NATIONAL Champion! Best of luck wherever you end up!!”
