Michigan is a step closer to adding the perimeter threat.
As we await news of what will hopefully be a massive recruiting weekend for the Michigan Wolverines basketball program, Dusty May has made considerable progress with someone who has yet to visit Ann Arbor.
Tulane transfer guard Kolby King announced his top-five, with the Wolverines included:

The 6-foot-2 guard shot 37.9 percent from behind the arc last season in 27 minutes per game with the Green Wave, averaging a little more than 10 points per contest. The sophomore has two years of eligibility remaining, which will be crucial for May as he attempts to build his team and establish his culture.
South Carolina, Utah, Dayton and Butler also appear on the list. The Gamecocks would be the closest in proximity to Tulane’s New Orleans campus. King, a Florida product, could consider that if he chooses to stay closer to home. All of the other options would be substantially further from home. The Gamecocks and Flyers were also the only two teams on this list to make the NCAA Tournament this season.
Depending on what transpires with some of the other guards in the transfer portal that May is targeting, Michigan may also be able to offer King a starting role. Durral Brooks and George Washington III are the only guaranteed returning guards on the roster. Nimari Burnett may opt to come back, too, but it will also likely depend on what players May brings in from the portal.
