He’s the son of three-time NBA All-Star Peja Stojakovic.
Dusty May and the Michigan Wolverines have been in contact with the son of another NBA player — Andrej Stojakovic, the son of three-time NBA All-Star Peja Stojakovic — according to ESPN’s Jeff Borzello:
The latest on Stanford transfer Andrej Stojakovic, according to sources. Took a visit to Cal last weekend and the Bears are very much in the mix. North Carolina and Kentucky are also heavily involved, as is Michigan. Likely to take another visit this weekend, nothing finalized.… pic.twitter.com/PPZVSbWQTI

Stojakovic grew up in Northern California while his dad was the assistant GM for the Sacramento Kings. The fit with Stanford made too much sense in year one, as does his first visit to Cal, if he hopes to stay in the area.
However, the former top-25 recruit will garner interest from programs across the country. Michigan and Kentucky both offered him out of high school and are now hot on his trail again. Borzello reports he could take a visit to one of those schools or North Carolina this weekend, with Creighton, Washington, USC and Louisville still in the hunt.
At 6-foot-7, Stojakovic plays very similar to his father. He has a smooth handle, excellent court vision and a solid mid-range game with a pure shooting form. As a freshman, Stojakovic dropped 7.8 points per game while shooting 40.9 percent from the field. Even with just 32.7 percent shooting from behind the arc, he was one of the best shooters in his class coming out of high school and should perform much better as he continues to develop.
If the Wolverines earn Stojakovic’s commitment, they’ll add even more young talent to a roster that was vacant of it prior to May’s hiring. A scoring wing is one of the few positions of need still for the team. The guard depth and big men look strong, but the small forward spot looks a bit iffy with Alabama transfer Sam Walters being the only real fit there at the moment.
Still, Michigan has been going after available players vigorously over the last month, including securing the commitment from the son of another NBA legend, 2024 four-star guard Justin Pippen, as well as 2024 three-star guard Lorenzo Cason, along with all the additions via the portal.
