The football spring transfer portal is set to open next week. Per multiple reports, Michigan DL Alessandro Lorenzetti plans to enter the portal.
The Michigan Wolverines roster may have additions and subtractions by the time the month of April is over. The football spring transfer portal opens on April 15 and closes on April 26, and plenty of portal announcements are soon to trickle in. One player leaving the Wolverines is defensive lineman Alessandro Lorenzetti.

Lorenzetti, originally from Montreal in Canada, was a former three-star recruit in the class of 2022. Lorenzetti’s departure won’t have a major impact on Michigan’s roster, as he never appeared in a game for the Wolverines in three seasons. The biggest accolade Lorenzetti had at Michigan was being named Scout Team Offensive Player of the Week in 2022, ahead of Michigan’s tilt with Michigan State. The 6-foot-5, 285-pound Lorenzetti will have two years of eligibility remaining.
