Earlier this week we surveyed fans to get their predictions on the National Championship between Ohio State vs Notre Dame. The results are in.

Welcome to SB Nation Reacts, a survey of fans across the NCAA. Throughout the year we ask questions of the most plugged-in Michigan Wolverines fans and fans across the country. Sign up here to participate in the weekly emailed surveys.

There’s only one college football game left this season, the College Football Playoff National Championship between the No. 8 seed Ohio State Buckeyes (13-2) and the No. 7 seed Notre Dame Fighting Irish (14-1). Per FanDuel Sportsbook , Ohio State is currently an 8.5-point favorite over Notre Dame.

Earlier this week we asked fans whether they think Ohio State will cover the spread and win, if they believe Notre Dame will be victorious, or if Ohio State will win but by eight points or fewer. The results are in and the majority of those surveyed believe Ohio State will come out on top.

53% think Ohio State wins and covers, 28% say Notre Dame wins while 19% think the Buckeyes win by eight points or fewer.

Notre Dame has won thirteen games in a row and are 13-2 against the spread this year while Ohio State has won three games in a row and are 9-6 against the spread.

The poll results on Maize n Brew are similar to that of the national poll this week.

The national survey had 39% saying OSU wins by nine or more with 35% believing Notre Dame will win and 26% voting that the Buckeyes will win by eight points or fewer.
