I am thankful for all of the teammates, coaches, and memories from The University of Michigan. With that being said, I will be entering the transfer portal with 3 years or eligibility

“I am thankful for all of the teammates, coaches, and memories from The University of Michigan. With that being said, I will be entering the transfer portal with 3 years or eligibility,” Koumba said on social media.
Koumba, a three-star prospect in the class of 2023, was the first player from France to ever sign with the Wolverines. Koumba was ranked as the No. 77 edge in his class and No. 1 overall player in France. Koumba made two appearances in two seasons with Michigan, both appearances came against non-conference opponents in ECU and Arkansas State. Koumba was also named Scout Team Defensive Player of the Week in 2023 ahead of Michigan’s tilt against Rutgers.
