Michigan will play both home and away games against Michigan State , Purdue and Rutgers .
The Wolverines will play in Crisler Center against Illinois, Iowa, Maryland, Northwestern, Oregon, Penn State and Washington.
Away games for single-play opponents send Michigan to Indiana, Minnesota, Nebraska, Ohio State , UCLA, USC and Wisconsin.
With the addition of the Oregon Ducks , Washington Huskies , UCLA Bruins and USC Trojans, Michigan will have the opportunity to face new opponents for the first time in conference play in 2024.
Since the start of NIL, Big Ten teams have feasted in the transfer portal and the conference will look completely different next year with the additions of Ra’Heim Moss to Oregon, Jordan Derkack joining the Scarlet Knights, Dominick Harris going to the Bruins, Saint Thomas to the Trojans and Ben Humrichous attending Illinois — just to name a few.
In the 2018-19 season, the Big Ten expanded its regular season to a 20-game conference slate, with the idea of previewing the Big Ten season with two games in early December (home and away). Six years later, the Wolverines will face all 17 other Big Ten teams which should completely change the outlook of Big Ten basketball going forward.
In addition to the conference schedule being released, the Wolverines will also travel down to Fort Myers, Florida for the 2024 Fort Myers Tip-Off. The early-season tournament next year will take place from Nov. 25-27, 2024 and Michigan will be joined by South Carolina, Virginia Tech and Xavier to compete in the Beach Division of the event.
We may be just getting ready to start our sold out 2023 Tournament, but we just had to tell you who was coming to the Fort Myers Tip-Off in 2024!

The Fort Myers Tip-Off is a two-game, three-day tournament that has been held annually during the week of Thanksgiving at Suncoast Credit Union Arena in Fort Myers, Florida, since 2018. Champions in years past include Mississippi State, Florida, Gonzaga, Pittsburgh and Boston College.
This will be Michigan’s first time participating in the event.
In all, there will be a lot of travel involved for the Wolverines in 2024 who will go to California and Florida as part of their conference and out-of-conference schedule.
