Four players have signed with Michigan during the early signing period so far.
Guards Joseph Hartman and Malachi Brown along with big men Marcus Moller and Quinn Costello have all made official signings with the Wolverines, the team announced on Friday.
“This class fits everything we value — versatility, intelligence and competitiveness,” head coach Dusty May said. “Each of them enjoys playing for their teammates, embraces coaching and wants to be part of something bigger than themselves. They all bring different strengths, but the common thread is their character and work ethic.”
Four-star and top-10 power forward prospect, Quin Costello, began his high school career at Boston College High School (M.A.) as an under the radar recruit. He later transfered to The Newman School (M.A.) where he would develop into a top-50 prospect in his class.
Hartman is a four-star guard and top-100 prospect in the Class of 2026. During the 2025 summer season he played for Austin Rivers SE Elite at the Adidas 3SSB Circuit. He averaged 13.8 points, 4.6 rebounds and 2.2 assists for his team.
Moller is an international talent at 7-foot-3. He played for Denmark in the 2024 U18 EuroBasket where he averaged 13.1 points, 7.4 rebounds and 1.7 blocks per game.
Brown is a three-star prospect and a top-50 small forward in the Class of 2026. He began his career at Roane County High School (T.N.) before transferring to Knoxville Catholic (T.N.) for his senior season.
In 2025 summer season he played for Tennessee Impact in the Adidas 3SSB Circuit. He averaged 15.3 points, 4.5 rebounds and 2.5 assists per game for his team.
Michigan is adding talent to all three positional groups for its 2026 recruiting class, a class they are surely expecting to have a bigger impact on the program next season.
