Michigan and Ohio State is known as the best rivalry in college football, but Michigan State might have something to say about that.
After being the “little brother” for the past few decades – okay, forever – the Spartans had a little fight in them on Saturday night. During the in-state showdown, Michigan State gave the Wolverines everything they could handle.
In the end, though, it was Sherrone Moore and company walking out with a 24-17 victory in Ann Arbor. As Michigan knelt down for one last time to run out the clock, a melee ensued.
Following the final whistle, Michigan tight end Colston Loveland didn’t take kindly to a Michigan State player shoving him. Loveland responded with a headbutt to the Spartans player’s face, which ignited the brawl after the Michigan State player grabbed onto the tight end’s helmet and tried to drag him to the ground.
Other Michigan players immediately jumped in before the entire sideline of Wolverines players came running out onto the field.

The fight only lasted about 30 seconds before officials and coaching staff from both programs were able to restore order, but video of the incident has quickly gone viral on social media.
Rivalries tend to get heated, especially when one side has been doing most of the winning.
