Michigan football has an opening at defensive coordinator after Jesse Minter followed Jim Harbaugh to Los Angeles.
On Sunday, it was reported that Kansas City Chiefs defensive line coach Joe Cullen was a possible candidate for the position.
Tonight, 247Sports’ Matt Zenitz reported that former Baltimore Ravens and New York Giants defensive coordinator Wink Martindale is also “a person of interest.”
In addition to Joe Cullen, another NFL coach on the radar as a person of interest for the Michigan defensive coordinator job is ex-Ravens and Giants DC Wink Martindale, sources tell @247sports .

Martindale was the linebackers coach (2012-17) and defensive coordinator (2018-21) with the Baltimore Ravens under John Harbaugh, Jim’s brother.
For the last two seasons, he led the defense for the Giants, turning in a quality overall performance despite simmering tensions with head coach Brian Daboll that led to an ugly split.
Bryan Broaddus of 105.3 The Fan reported on Sunday that Martindale was one of the coaches “in the mix” for the Dallas Cowboys defensive coordinator position.
We’ll see how it goes. Rivera and Martindale in the mix too. https://t.co/xsDtbMTtPl
