Jim Harbaugh Had Epic Reaction While Getting Michigan Tattoo

Let it never be said that Los Angeles Chargers head coach Jim Harbaugh isn’t one tough son of a gun.

The former Michigan head coach decided to get a tattoo recently to commemorate the Wolverines’ 15-0 national championship season in 2023. But as the ink-filled needles pierced his skin, Harbaugh stayed cool, calm and straight-faced for the entire thing.

“I’m impervious to pain,” Harbaugh said on camera before staring directly into it as the tattoo artist did his work. After it was all done, Harbaugh smiled and laughed while admiring his new ink.

The clip has gone viral with over 25,000 views on Tom Pelissero’s account on X alone and tons of fans praising him for showing how tough he was.

“The T levels are through the damn roof,” one user wrote.

“Good. He’ll need to sit again in a few years for another one on his other arm,” another fan declared.

A few argued that getting a tattoo isn’t all that painful. That might come down to who’s giving the tattoo and what needle they’re using though.

Harbaugh’s Wolverines won the national title last year despite him being suspended for about half of the regular season. But they still persevered and beat nearly all of their opponents with ease.

But after the season, having accomplished his dream of bringing a title to his alma mater (and with a looming NCAA investigation), Harbaugh decided to leave the team to return to the NFL after nearly a decade away from the game.
