J.J. McCarthy was asked a pretty fascinating question by CBS Sports at the NFL Combine this week.
The platform asked him to name the top three wide receivers that he’d love to pass to in the NFL and his answers were pretty interesting.
“I’ll say Justin Jefferson, Davante Adams, you know there’s so many great guys but I said this before, Jaxon Smith-Njigba,” McCarthy said . “Seeing him play my freshman year, being 3-0 against him, having that on the chest, it’s a little bit more respect than hatred.”

Ohio State fans won’t like McCarthy bringing up the program’s record against Michigan over the last three years but it’s still cool for him to say that he’d love to throw it to Smith-Njigba.
It shows how much McCarthy respects him since he was a great wideout for OSU.
Jefferson and Adams are easy answers since they’re two of the five best wideouts in the NFL.
McCarthy could get the chance to throw to Adams since the Raiders need a new quarterback and he could be available to them when they pick at No. 13 overall.
It could be the start of a great QB-WR duo if the Raiders have the chance to draft McCarthy.
