Michigan CB Will Johnson, as expected, is listed as OUT, while CB2 Jyaire Hill could be good to go today against Indiana. Here is the Wolverines’ full injury report:
Michigan was pretty banged up last week against Oregon, especially in the secondary. Both starting cornerbacks, Will Johnson and Jyaire Hill, missed the game against the Ducks. Fortunately, the Wolverines may be getting Hill back for today’s matchup with Indiana, while Johnson will miss yet another game.
Here is the full injury report for today’s game.
Out
- WR Amorion Walker
- CB Will Johnson
- S Jaden Mangham
- LB Micah Pollard
- S Rod Moore
- OL Jeff Persi
- TE Hogan Hansen
Questionable
- CB Jyaire Hill
Persi suffered an injury last week against Oregon and did not return. Head coach Sherrone Moore gave an encouraging update on him earlier this week and that he is expected to be okay, but clearly he is not healthy enough just yet if he were to be needed today.
Meanwhile, Hansen is a new addition to the injury report. He was completely fine last week, so he must have either picked up an injury late against Oregon or this week during practice. Hopefully whatever he’s dealing with isn’t a long-term issue.
On a better note, true freshman running back Jordan Marshall is completely off the injury report for the first time since Week 2 against Texas. Perhaps we can see him and a few other true freshmen in this game.
Michigan vs. Indiana kicks off around 3:40 p.m. on CBS.
