Michigan CB Will Johnson has been ruled out yet again for today’s game against Oregon. Unfortunately, CB2 Jyaire Hill is also out. To top it all off, an OL has been ruled out for the rest of the season. Here is the Wolverines’ full injury report:
The Michigan Wolverines will be without star cornerback Will Johnson once again on Saturday as he continues to recover from an undisclosed injury. On top of that, CB2 Jyaire Hill will also be out against Oregon.
*gulp*
Here is the full injury report for today’s game.
Out
- WR Amorion Walker
- CB Will Johnson
- S Jaden Mangham
- LB Micah Pollard
- S Rod Moore
- CB Jyaire Hill
- LB Christian Boivin
- OL Andrew Gentry (season)
Questionable
- RB Jordan Marshall
- DT Rayshaun Benny
With Johnson and Hill both unavailable, Wink Martindale and the Wolverines will have to rely on guys like Zeke Berry and Aamir Hall once again in the secondary.
Gentry, who left the game last week against MSU due to what appeared to be a lower-body injury, is now ruled out for the entire season. Expect redshirt freshman Evan Link to be Michigan’s starting right tackle the rest of the season.
In better news, it’s nice to see both Marshall and Benny listed as questionable. Marshall — who was the Wolverines’ highest ranked true freshman — has only played in one game this season. Meanwhile, Benny has missed the last few games and would provide some much needed depth along the interior of the defensive line.
Michigan vs. Oregon will kickoff around 3:40 p.m. on CBS.
