The Round of 32 is here, with the Michigan Wolverines taking on the Texas A&M Aggies tonight with a trip to the Sweet Sixteen on the line. Here’s how to watch the NCAA Tournament matchup:
After a stressful Round of 64 win over the 12-seed UC San Diego Tritons, the 5-seed Michigan Wolverines face off against the 4-seed Texas A&M Aggies in an early evening matchup on Saturday.
The only thing that stands in the way of Michigan’s first Sweet Sixteen berth in three years is an Aggie squad that finished fifth in a deep SEC conference. Texas A&M beat 13-seed Yale on Thursday before Michigan’s game against UCSD.

A few things to watch out for on this Texas A&M team:
- Wade Taylor IV, the school’s all-time leading scorer who had his jersey retired earlier this month, is a certified bucket. He is capable of leading the Aggies on a lengthy run with his shot-making ability, and he feels like a lock to be featured in One Shining Moment with one big shot.
- The other half of the backcourt is Zhuric Phelps, who averages just under 14 points per game. These two average nearly 30 points per game, take nearly 60 percent of the team’s shots, and have the ball on nearly 60 percent of possessions.
- 6-foot-9 Parrell Payne and 6-foot-7 Andersson Garcia will likely be tasked with guarding Michigan’s big men. Payne led the Aggies in scoring in the Round of 64 game vs Yale (25), and Garcia is a glue guy that can be a prolific rebounder.
- Speaking of rebounding, Texas A&M leads the country in offensive rebounding percentage (41.7 percent ), but a big reason for that is the Aggies struggle from beyond the arc, making only 30.8 percent of their threes (325th in the country).

Michigan has to take care of the basketball, do better from the free-throw line (11-of-20 vs UC San Diego), and consistently create shots. I have Michigan advancing to the Sweet Sixteen in my bracket because of its size and improved defensive play over the last few weeks. I also love the value of getting plus-odds to bet on the Wolverines to win this one.
The winner of this game will play the winner of 1-seed Auburn and 9-seed Creighton in Atlanta next week. Maize N Brew will have coverage throughout the men’s and women’s NCAA tournaments.
