If you tuned in to watch Dusty May’s third game in charge and expected to see a finished product, you likely left disappointed. The Wolverines were far from perfect, but they figured out how to beat TCU, 76-64, despite playing one of the most turnover-heavy halves of Michigan basketball in decades.
It was frantic and sloppy sometimes, but it was a double-digit home win over a high-major program with NCAA Tournament aspirations. Every team has problems to address in November; good ones get to work them out after a win.
Michigan falls into that category tonight. The Wolverines got a hot shooting night from Nimari Burnett and improved second-half play from Danny Wolf and Tre Donaldson to move to 2-1 on the season.
