Michigan took care of business with another league road win on Saturday, knocking off Indiana, 70-67, at Assembly Hall.
The Wolverines led by as many as 18 points and never trailed but had to weather an Indiana surge in the second half. Michigan missed its final 13 3-point attempts over the final 28 minutes of game time, and Indiana came back to tie the game with four minutes to play.
But Michigan regrouped and made plays when it counted. Of course, it helps to have the best player on the floor in crunch time, and 7-foot junior Danny Wolf was that guy.
Wolf carried the Wolverines down the stretch, finishing with 20 points, nine rebounds, and five assists, with each created basket a bit more impressive than the last. Then, with the game on the line, he iced things away at the stripe.
