Michigan returns home to host Washington on Sunday (2:00 p.m., BTN) afternoon at the Crisler Center.
The Huskies are on their first road trip outside of the Pacific time zone this season, and it hasn’t gotten off to a great start. They were blown out at the Breslin Center on Thursday night, falling behind 16-1 out of the gates and never managing to compete in an 88-54 drubbing.
Danny Sprinkle’s first season at Washington has been a struggle. The Huskies had a surprising home win over Maryland and a closer-than-expected home loss to Illinois, but they are 10-6 (1-4), ranked 92nd on KenPom, and have five defeats by 9+ points, including at home to Seattle just before Christmas.
