Braiden McGregor is fighting for a roster spot with the New York Jets, and after the monster performance he had last night, the former Michigan Wolverine very well could make the roster:
Former Michigan Wolverines edge Braiden McGregor disappointingly went undrafted this spring in the NFL Draft , but he is still making a name for himself this preseason with the New York Jets .
On Saturday night against the New York Giants , McGregor put up four tackles, two sacks, one tackle for loss and four quarterback hits to help the Jets win a tight 10-6 game.

McGregor’s performance will assuredly make New York’s final decision whether to keep him around or not much harder. He was having a decent offseason with the Jets up to this point, but the game against the Giants was the exclamation point that he needed.
Unfortunately, McGregor isn’t the only rookie undrafted free agent defensive lineman fighting for his professional life. Former Miami Hurricane Leonard Taylor III also put up a strong preseason showing and compiled 1.5 sacks against the Giants.
Hopefully McGregor was able to show enough this preseason to make the Jets’ final roster. And if not, perhaps a certain hometown team would show some interest in him and call him back to the state of Michigan.
