A new Netflix documentary on Connor Stalions and the sign-stealing scandal that rocked the Michigan football program last year has had a lot of different reactions from people who were affected.
For Michigan alum Jourdan Lewis, who now plays for the Dallas Cowboys, there was one clear takeaway from the documentary. The revelation was that Stalions didn’t confess to anything spicy.
“All I got from the Stallions documentary is y’all mad he didn’t give yall the sauce,” Lewis said on X .
He’s not wrong. There was nothing in the documentary that we didn’t already know from the year’s worth of media coverage and NCAA investigations.
To the disappointment of many, there wasn’t a smoking gun that then-head coach Jim Harbaugh knew about Stalions’ actions, let alone directed him to do anything.
That said, Michigan-haters are still ripping Lewis for saying this:
“Hey what’s your record against THE Ohio state? Also Michigan did cheat,” one user declared.
“Shocker! No bias in this opinion right Jourdan? Where’d you play college ball again?” another wrote.
“You wish they started cheating when you were there? Could’ve won an important game maybe…” a third wondered.
Do you agree with Lewis or is he wrong on this one?
