The Big Blue family is hurting today after the news of Craig Roh’s passing at just 33-years-old.
According to his wife, Chelsea, Roh lost his long, quiet battle to cancer earlier this week. Saying via his Twitter account:
I wanted to let all of his followers know that after an 18-month battle with Stage IV colon cancer, God brought Craig home on Monday, February 26th. Craig was not very public with his battle, as he truly just wanted to focus on bringing the best content and building the best products he could. He laid out a timeline for his business so stay tuned…
Roh’s wife also shared a link to a GoFundMe page in his name to go towards the family’s medical expenses, future schooling for their son and to help with the task of rebuilding their life without Craig.
Roh was a versatile, standout talent on the defensive line for Michigan during the Rich Rod and Brady Hoke eras; starting 51 games in a row at three different positions before receiving All-Big Ten honors as a senior.
Roh would go undrafted in 2013 but was later signed and released by the Carolina Panthers. He then elected to play in the CFL for the BC Lions and Winnipeg Blue Bombers before creating D-Line University.
