New Michigan head coach Dusty May landed a commitment from one of his former players today when Vlad Goldin announced his commitment to Michigan. ESPN’s Adrian Wojnarowski first reported the news.
Goldin averaged 15.7 points, 6.9 rebounds, and 1.6 blocks in 25 minutes per game last year at Florida Atlantic. The graduate transfer has one year of eligibility remaining and is a consensus top-35 transfer in the portal.
Goldin joins Ohio State’s Roddy Gayle Jr. , Yale’s Danny Wolf , Auburn’s Tre Donaldson , North Texas’ Rubin Jones , and Alabama’s Sam Walters in Michigan’s loaded incoming transfer class. He’s the eighth commitment overall that Dusty May has landed in the last ten days.
Here’s a full breakdown of the 7-foot-1 big man, an assessment of his game, and how he fits in Ann Arbor.
