The Big Ten Championship Game between Michigan and Iowa is set to take place this Saturday in Indianapolis.
Michigan comes in as the favorite due to its 12-0 record but Iowa is no slouch, especially after finishing 10-2.
Iowa quarterback Cade McNamara, who used to play for Michigan, is going to help the program prep for this game since he can’t play after suffering a torn ACL in September.
He’s excited about helping the team prep for his former program and was even a little petty when he called the latter “that other team.”
“I think this week, specifically, I’m not just getting Deacon (Hill) ready. I’m getting the entire team as much as I can because I know so much about that other team from a defensive standpoint, from an offensive standpoint. I’m just doing everything I possibly can from an entire team standpoint to just let these guys know everything that I possibly know,” McNamara said , (first transcribed by All About Ann Arbor ).
Interesting interview from McNamara. I think everything he says is fine, but the fact that he won’t even say Michigan. He says that other team. 🧐 pic.twitter.com/1PcKvL8inN

We’ll have to see how much his knowledge helps Iowa this Saturday night. Kickoff is set for 8 p.m. ET.
