Many Ohio State fans were not in a good mental state following the program’s loss to Michigan on Saturday.
You can count Common Man and T-Bone from Columbus’s 97.1 The Fan among them. During their daily radio show on Monday, Common Man suggested skipping commercial breaks so he could vent about the Buckeyes’ third-straight loss to the Wolverines.
The pair’s boss even jumped on the air to attempt to convince them to go to commercial as scheduled, even though Common Man swore he’d pay for the missing ad spots.
Common Man also claimed he received an email from corporate demanding they take the break or get off the air.
“We have no plan today. We’re just talking Buckeyes losing to Michigan. We’ll be back to a regular show tomorrow if we are indeed here tomorrow,” Common Man said.

Saturday’s loss clinched that it will be three consecutive years without a Big Ten title for Ohio State and head coach Ryan Day.
The Buckeyes still made the College Football Playoff last year despite losing to the Wolverines, but the odds of that happening again this time seem quite slim.
