BTT 2025: Michigan vs. Wisconsin Preview

March 16, 2025 by UM Hoops

Michigan and Wisconsin come full circle on Sunday afternoon to wrap up Big Ten play. The two schools met in their first Big Ten game of the season in December and will now play for a Big Ten Tournament Championship in Indianapolis.

It’s a clash between two teams that feel like they let a Big Ten regular season banner slip away in the final weeks of the regular season, and now have the chance to make it right. A clash of two teams that have evolved quite a bit since the first meeting, and arguably the league’s two biggest (and unexpected) winners of the transfer portal.

Championship Sunday is about showcasing the Big Ten product to the country before the NCAA Tournament, and this game should do just that. Both teams have All-Big Ten talent, play fast, shoot a lot of threes, and look poised to make noise in the NCAA Tournament next week.

Here’s a look back at what we learned in the first meeting and what’s changed since ahead of today’s 3:30 p.m. tip on CBS.
