Auburn point guard Tre Donaldson announced his commitment to Michigan today.
Donaldson is a 6-foot-3 guard who just completed his sophomore season for the Tigers. He averaged 6.7 points, 3.2 assists and 2.4 rebounds in 19.2 minutes per game while splitting time in a platoon point guard system.
Donaldson was a two-sport star out of high school who committed to Auburn over Florida State, Florida, and Alabama. He was also being recruited out of the portal by Georgia and Texas Tech.
He’s Michigan’s third transfer commitment since Dusty May was hired, joining Yale’s Danny Wolf and North Texas’ Rubin Jones.
Here’s a full breakdown of the 6-foot-3 guard, an assessment of his game, and how he fits in Ann Arbor.
