At end of Michigan career, Terrance Williams II shows highs and lows of Juwan Howard era

March 10, 2024 by UM Hoops

Terrance Williams II was in no rush.

An 85-70 senior day loss might have been his last game at Crisler Center, but his job wasn’t over. Before leaving the court for what seems to be the final time (boy, those COVID years make this confusing), Williams stopped and signed some autographs. A basketball, a program, and then he turned around to the other side of the tunnel and signed some more stuff. And with each stroke of his pen, Williams made the 10-year-old boys smile ear to ear.

Once, that was him.

“I made some brothers this year, happy about that. I’m playing basketball, can’t be mad about that,” Williams said. “My 10-year-old self would be happy where I am right now and that’s all that matters to me in this moment and this final season here for the time being.”
