Walters, a former top-100 recruit, transferred from Alabama after playing 12.3 minutes per game as a freshman. He averaged 5.4 points and 2.4 rebounds per game, shooting 39-of-99 from 3-point range.
Walters joins Yale’s Danny Wolf, Auburn’s Tre Donaldson, Ohio State’s Roddy Gayle Jr., and North Texas’ Rubin Jones in Michigan’s incoming transfer class. He’s the sixth commitment that Dusty May has landed in the last four days.
